A leading Middle East based bank urgently requires a Head of Guarantees and Bills for Collection to join their expanding team in Qatar.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should be a Bachelor Degree holder in Business, Finance or Accounting.
> Preference to applicants with professional qualifications such as ACCA/CA/CFA.
> Work experience of minimum ten years in Foreign Trade Operations (Guarantees and Bills for Collection) is needed.
> Minimum 4 years of experience should be at a managerial level in a bank in the GCC.
> Need skills in MS-Office and other Bank applications.
> Fluent communication skills in English and Arabic is needed.
> Should be familiar with International Chamber of Commerce Rules relating to Foreign Trade Operations (URDG, URC,UCP, Incoterms etc and their current revisions).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Conduct activities pertaining to foreign trade operations in the most effective and efficient manner resulting in the highest level of customer service.
> Ensure timely and seamless processing of transactions.
> Review periodical reports of bills received, settled, outstanding and dues, and take necessary actions.
> Implement standards and lead the work of the unit staff.
> Manage the centralized processing of the Group’s Foreign Trade transactions encompassing Letters of Guarantee and Bills for Collection.
> Timely identification and resolution of processing errors in order to mitigate the related financial and operational risks involved.
