Telecommunications Internal Networks Specialist - Ref. TRA/TTO/01
Purpose of the Jab:
To manage and control the telecommunications industry responsibility within the Municipal One Stop Shop building permission model, as well as provide technical support to developers with regard to internal telecommunications networks in buildings.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage and efficiently run TRA's responsibility In representing the whole of the telecommunications Industry, within Consultation processes and building permits process of the Municipal One Stop Shop model that grant permissions to consultation developments, as well as TRA's responsibility within the consultation processes of the Physical Planning
Directorate of the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, which grant permissions to lands subdivisions.
Provide technical advice and slipped to Individuals, private developers, engineering offices, etc. with regard to the design and construction on of telecommunications infrastructure and networks within buildings and developments.
Ensure all buildings and developments engineering drawings are incorporated with suitable telecommunications infrastructure, before the approval by Municipalities. Recommend suitable technical measures when required.
Educate and provide literature, to the public, engineering bodies, developers, etc. about the Importance of efficient and reliable in-house telecommunications Infrastructures for the end to end quality of telecommunications services.
Design and Implement suitable engineering processes to ensure consultations are carried out within the agreed quality and time scale.
Prepare and continuously develop all necessary technical standards and specifications b ensure the efficiency of all In-house telecommunications net.
Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive knowledge and minimum of 5 years experience in the held of in buildings, telecommunication infrastructure and networks.
Extensive Experience in the local building permission process and telecommunications requirements In private development projects.
B. SC or FIND In Electrical, El-and and/or Telecommunications Engineering.
