Primary Purpose of Role:
Ensure effective management and control of 4 site operations while developing a seamless service offering to the customer and other secondary customers. This includes being responsible for managing all facets of the operational interface between the customer and its 3PL contractors for the site.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for managing relations with the customer and other secondary customers management teams.
- Ensure daily/weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished (i.e. staffing, equipment, space).
- Effective leadership and management of the operational and administration teams.
- Management of 3PL and customer relationships.
- Design and implement all operational changes to raise both efficiency of service offering to the customer and other secondary customers and achieve cost effective & profitable service levels.
- Evaluate, design and implement all operational systems provided to ensure they are implemented effectively and utilized correctly on an ongoing basis.
- Daily management of and development of staff to ensure maximum performance through training and coaching.
- Day to day operational management for regional 3PL's and other service providers.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE policy and procedure.
- Manage projects, operational modeling and implementation support.
- Effective deployment of assets and resources across region's.
- Development of strategies for increased operational efficiency and cost reduction.
- To audit 3PL performance and compliance with the agreed scope of work.
- Management of all administrative activity related to site location.
