Job Description:

SOFTWARE ENGINEER (PL/SQL Programming) - United Arab Emirates.

Our client is a global firm and wishes to recruit a Software Programmer for their office in Dubai.

Role:

= The purpose of the role is to develop and test configuration scripts as per client requirements.

= Provide support to different testing phases-regression, smoke, UAT, integration, stress etc.

= Perform service desk or software support related activities and lead such activities whenever required.

= Installation/ creation of Oracle database and managing database objects.

= Define, develops, document and maintains PL/SQL objects (procedures, packages, triggers, etc).

= Program in Oracle PL/SQL and VB.net (file IO operations, metadata, OOPS programming, ADO.net).

Qualification  Requirements:

= Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related discipline.

= Strong background in PL/SQL and VB.net programming.

= Must have some understanding of the banking or cards industry.

= Hands-on experience in ASP.net, LINQ, AJAX and IBM Informix is highly preferred.

= Proficiency in English and good presentation skills.
