A well established bank in Bahrain is looking for a Legal Adviser. All the applicants should be a PG degree holder in Law and a member of the appropriate Bar or professional body regulating Legal Counsel. Work experience in Commercial and other branches of the Law is required. Preference to applicants who are experienced in a bank in the GCC. Fluent communication skills in English and Arabic is required.
Job Responsibilities:
> Provide legal advice within the bank on a variety of legal matters relating to the bank's affairs and interests.
> Negotiate, review and provide legal opinions to solve issues.
> Assist the bank's personnel to recognize and resolve legal issues.
> Review cases and problems submitted by other departments and the management.
> Review rules, policies and regulations of the bank and ensure compliance with relevant legislations.
> Liaise with the bank's external lawyers as well as assist with the appointment of professional advisors.
