CONTRACTS ENGINEER

Minimum Requirements: B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline/Business Administration Six (6) years experience in contracts development, in an oil/gas or petro-chemical industry Sound knowledge of commercial practices, legal aspects and negotiation skills, Ability to utilize specialized applicable software package Very good knowledge of English language, Very good knowledge of computer skills Develops contracts related to studies & General Services for all Company Divisions, recommends suitable sources and proposes appropriate contracting matters in the field, Evaluates claims/requests for contract variations and maintains follow-up until close out of contract file. Prepares recommendations for Award in discussion with the Sr. Contracts Engineer and Contracts Section Head and submits the same to Tender Board for its endorsement and to competent authority for approval, Establish and agrees with Contracts Section Head on bidders short listing criteria, Evaluates commercial clarifications, arranges site visits for bidders and accompanies bidders on such visits. Coordinates with Users and resolves technical clarifications received from bidders prior to site visit and after site visits, Attends technical and commercial bid opening, in accordance with company guidelines.
