Job Description
• Manage the SAN storage environment, especially for Open Systems platforms. • Manage the enterprise tape backup system. • Enhance the availability and performance of DASD and Tape systems. • Ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of services to all support staff and users. Candidate will assist in the implementation and maintenance of a disaster tolerant and an enhanced Backup/Recovery and Storage Infrastructure Solution within the Production Data Centre (RDC), and fast Recovery of systems in the Contingency Data Centre site in Dammam. • To ensure data availability for z/OS, Sun Solaris, AIX and Windows platforms within the Bank's Data Center. This includes the implementation of appropriate local and remote mirroring and tape backup procedures. • To provide support for all Bank's Disk and Tape Storage Sub-systems.
