Job Description:

Our client, a multinational bank based in Bahrain is looking for a Credit Administration Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall quality of the credit files and has to chair the ‘Portfolio Credit Committee’ as well as administer the loan portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

• Report facilities granted on authority delegated to different levels, as required,

or ratification by the competent authority.

• Scrutinize the approval of credit facilities and arrange to issue the

credit documentation in consultation with internal and external legal counsels.

• Direct the preparation of credit statistics, credit information, replies to inquiries,

returns and other reports as stipulated by the regulatory agencies.

• Ensure the timely completion of security documents as well as credit documentation

from customers in liaison with the Account Relationship Managers.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Banking.

• An additional degree / post-graduation qualification in law would be an advantage.

• Over More than ten years experience in credit administration functions of a bank in the GCC, with strong knowledge of bank KYC documentation, international loan documentation, credit and related accounting regulations.

• Must have previous experience in setting up the Credit Administration function as well as the relevant procedures and processes.
