Job Description :
Position Summary: Assisting consultant in the surgical and intensive care management of patients with congenital heart defects. In house cover of cardiac surgical patients in PICU examine patients and assess investigations to see whether patients require surgical treatment, and perform necessary surgery on chosen patients. Experience: extensive skill, knowledge and experience are needed for these occupations. Many require more then five years of experience. Required certification/Licensure/Registration: Residency training or board certification in surgery/pediatric surgery, followed by a period of specialist training in pediatric cardiac surgery and surgery for congenital heart disease in adults as well.
