A MAJOR TELECOM SERVICE PROVIDER BASED IN KUWAIT, SERVICING VENDORS AND OPERATORS IN THE GCC AND MIDDLE EAST SINCE 2002 IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING A SENIOR PROCUREMENT MANAGER
KEY DUTIES
The incumbent is required to interface with customers, enhance and maintain the material/supplier/subcon database.
Due diligence, discovery and transition third party cost bases.
Strategic supplier sourcing, negotiating and drafting complex third party quotes and contracts, identifying and managing risks. Improve processes to work seamlessly with Sales, Operations, Logistics and Finance to meet customer deadlines and requirements.
Conduct quarterly marketing evaluations to ensure and minimize supplier cost base.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong commercial/business acumen, proven negotiations skills, strong leadership, relationship management and interpersonal skills and 3rd Party supplier management.
Experience with telecom customer bids/account activity is preferred.
