Job Description:-

A global insurance company have an urgent requirement for a highly qualified Marine Senior Trading Underwriter - Middle East Specialty.

Job Responsibilities:

 • Building, maintaining and developing relationships with a portfolio of Accounts to 
secure profitable renewals and generate new business in line with agreed area/segment 
strategies, and underwriting the associated cases within agreed processes and risk appetite.

• Delivering underwriting decisions, managing Accounts and Account Plans and contributing to business development activities.

• Reviewing allocated large, complex or specialist cases and deliver underwriting decisions, following agreed processes at the designated authority level, in order to secure profitable business within the agreed risk appetite.

Qualification Requirements:

• Proven track record of developing a book of business, hitting revenue targets and at the same time managing risk.

• Must have relevant license or professional accreditation to meet internal and local 
industry/regulatory codes.

• At least seven years experience of working in a range of underwriting roles across a range of marine cargo risks including large & complex.

• Excellent internal networks and relations with the Sales function

• Fluency in English is a must.
