A top civil engineering company in Bahrain is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should be a Graduate in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
> Work experience of over 15 years in a contracting company is needed.
> Should be familiar with Civil Engineering conditions of all types of Contracts and subcontracts within GCC countries.
> Should be able to perform risk, value management and cost control.
> Ability for identifying, analyzing and responding to commercial risks is needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Prepare tender, contracts and subcontracts including BOQs.
> Make sure that final cost assessments are accurate.
> Identify and negotiate variations/claims in the company's best interest.
> Review invoices to ensure conformity of billing format, correct scope and amounts.
> Advising on procurement strategy and on contractual claims.
