Job description
• Records and monitors the corrosion failures of all plant stationary equipment. • Prepare list of stationary equipments prone to SCC, CUI, hydrogen attack etc., and assist inspection engineers to develop inspection plan and carrying out inspection. • Maintaining corrosion rate records and remaining life assessment. • Develop procedure to avoid / mitigate corrosion. • Analyze and studies corrosion related problems of plant facilities. • Plan & attend site works assist in managing the delivery of multi-disciplinary schemes to a high quality. • Liaise as necessary with clients, other departments and specialist sub-consultants and attend project meetings. • Responsible for timely providing specialist engineering skills for plant problems such as study the root cause, analyze, recommend and prepare & issue technical inspection reports after site visits in the field. • Review of engineering drawings and ITP of the projects. • Monitor the CP system and perform field survey of the CP system and issue technical report.
Qualifications
• Candidate must have Material / Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering Degree with a min. of 10+ year’s experience. Out of it, minimum 5 years experience in the petrochemical plant and industry. • Candidate must have proficient communication skills, good analytical and problem solving skills, excellent Knowledge of English and computer skill knowledge. • Knowledge of review drawings, design specification. • Candidate should be fully familiar with international standards such as API, ASTM and ASME specifications.
