Job Description:
The above position is urgently required by an Oil & Gas company in the government and operating downstream. Basic Functions:- To provide operational and technical support to the Logistics Division. To study new projects from the operational point view and coordinate with the Engineering & Project Division to define the operational requirements of such projects. To monitor these projects from designing stage to commissioning and update the Division Manager regularly on the progress. To participate in the technical meetings with concerned contractors, consultants and Company engineers to resolve operational issues. To prepare Operational Procedures for Logistics Division and ensure the Procedures are adopted in all Logistics locations after its approval. To review and update the Procedures regularly and ensure these updating are communicated to all concerned. To carry out inspection tour in all Logistics sites to ensure the compliance of the Procedure and Safety standards. To provide Operational and Technical support to the division in and all areas including special assigments as asigned by the Division Manager. Key responsibilities:- Studies the new projects for Logistics Division from operational point of view, and coordinates with Projects Division to define Operational requirements of new projects in view of the Logistics Division. Monitors the progress of new Projects relating to Logistics Division requirements from the design stage to commissioning of the project. Reports progress/issues to Logistics Division Manager. Participates in the meetings with Consultants, Contractors and other company concerned departments for resolving Operational issues and prepares reports and Punch List Items to the Logistics Division Manager for his review and guidelines. Prepares Operational Procedures under the guidance of Logistics Division Manger, Logistics Department Managers and in coordination with Management Support Division. Ensures these Procedures cover all logistics locations and follows up till Procedures are approved and implemented. Reviews and updates Operational Procedures on regular basis and evaluates the validity of these procedures against Logistics Division operations. Coordinates the requirements of Internal Company, ISO External EXXON/MOBIL, BSI, audits and Insurance Surveys for all Logistics Division Locations Studies the Reports submitted by Auditors, Project Engineers and Surveyors.
Profile:
Bsc in Mechanical Engineering -5-6 Years job related experience preferably an Oil and Gas operating company. -Ability of using and working on all Microsoft Applications. -Good Training and Presentation Skills -Good Investigating Skills -Very good knowledge of English and Arabic -Valid UAE driving license.
