A leading Middle East based retail bank,invites applications from right candidates for the post of Credit Risk Manager to join their successful team in Kuwait.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should be a degree holder in Banking, Business, Finance or related field.
> Work experience of at least 7 years (at least 5 years in credit risk) in banking is needed.
> Should possess excellent communication skills.
> Skills in Arabic language will be a distinct advantage.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Leading a team of qualified professionals.
> Assessing the credit risks of the Corporate, International Banking and Dubai Branch divisions relating to credit proposals.
> Monitor and review the MIS reports on the Corporate, International, Dubai and Treasury credit portfolios.
> Follow up, co ordinate and guide Relationship Managers / Officers in their management of credit portfolios.
> Undertake periodic post-fact credit risk reviews to identify and monitor problematic accounts through early warning signals and alert management.
> Pre-fact risk review of credit proposals generated by the Corporate Banking and International Banking Division/Dubai Branch; review for sanction / renewal / restructuring / in
order to mitigate credit risks and to provide an independent risk assessment opinion.
