Service Technician Terex Demag ME

Location : Dubai
Minimum high school education with at least 3 4 years experience in mechanical / service field is required. A degree in
mechanical / electrical engineering will be preferred.
The main responsibilities would include:
* To provide support and service to Terex Crane Dealer Network and customers for the below tasks:
1. Complete Crane Commissioning and delivery
2. Completing regular and routine maintenance program as per Service Manual
3. Completing Warranty repairs, product and campaign bulletins
4. Complete time sheets, job cards and administrative paperwork to facilitate the invoicing of dealers/customers in the
provision of the above services, where directed
5. To ensure parts are returned to Terex Stores as required and appropriate paperwork is managed to record the movement of
parts on all jobs
6. To assist the recovery of parts and costs against suppliers where necessary in the provision of Product Support & Services
Manager
* To provide telephone support to Dealers/Customers
* To travel to site and able to perform afterhours duties, as and when required by the customer, in liaison with the Dealers
* To work safely consistent with local laws and policies and to adopt Terex
* To provide telephone support to Dealers/Customers
* To travel to site and able to perform afterhours duties, as and when required by the customer, in liaison with the Dealers
* Supervising and evaluating Dealer capability in Product Support through adequate field technicians and workshop
* Support Dealers technicians in the field and their trouble-shooting knowledge
* Supervising and evaluating Dealer capability to stock parts adequate to crane population in the territory of competence
* Support part reordering, control and supply to Dealers
* Represent the company in its relationships with customers
* Liaise with Engineering and Sales Departments in the collection of data and information relevant to the delivery of quality

Competencies / experience and Personal Qualities required:
* Previous experience in a mechanical trade based environment
* Computing Skills (basic level necessary for LMI and crane diagnostics)
* A presence and ability to present a professional image to dealers, customers and Terex personnel
* Heavy vehicle license or equivalent
* Crane experience and knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
* Must be able to travel and complete some additional after hour tasks
* Good English language knowledge
