Responsibilities
1. Hires, trains and supervises the work of food and production staff
2. Plan menus for food outlets considering customer base, popularity of dishes, holidays and costs
3. Controls inventory, maximises sales and minimises waste
4. Ensures that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained
Skill & experience
1. Culinary degree or equivalent experience
2. Ability to read and write in English
3. 2-5 years prior experience as head chef in a high-volume environment
4. Wide knowledge about different types of food is required
