Personal assistant:

Personal assistant works closely with Directorial staff to provide administrative support, usually on a one-to-one basis. Help Director to make the best use of their time by dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks. 
• Ensures all correspondence if correctly filled in current main office filing system. 
• Maintains Office diary for the Director’s schedules and appointments 
• Writes or drafts correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written materials in English and Arabic 
• Reviews incoming correspondence; initiates replies as appropriate; relays matters requiring action by other staff and follows up to ensure actions are completed. 
• Edits written material for accuracy, format, and arrangement

Skills:

• Minimum of one year experience as a secretary or office support person, with responsibilities for areas related to this position 
• Highly literate in general computer applications (Word, Excel, etc). 
• Excellent communication skills with ability to speak to individuals and groups of stakeholders and employees. 
• Demonstrated capacity to work under own motivation and unsupervised for periods. Problem solving skills and initiative.
