Job Description : SVP/Head of Financial Institutions, UAE

Our client, a Middle East commercial bank is looking for an SVP and Head of Financial Institutions to join its dynamic team in UAE. Reporting to the Head of the International and Investment Banking, the incumbent will be responsible for strategizing, establishing, enhancing and managing the following lines of business:



• Financial Institutions – relationships with local / international banks 
• Corporate Syndications – origination and distribution 
• Project Finance (including, ship / aircraft finance) 
• Primary / Secondary Corporate Assets 
• Financing Mergers and Acquisitions 
• Structured Finance 
• Credit Derivatives 
• Trading in Assets 
• Agency functions 
• Securitization 


Requirements:


• University Degree in Economics or Finance; ideally MBA in Finance/ CIA/ACCA/CPA/CA.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with preference to exposure in the GCC market.
