Our client, a leading investment bank is looking for a Senior Islamic Banker to join their dynamic team in Bahrain. The successful candidate, who reports to the Global CEO of Islamic Banking, will be responsible for inception, planning, development and delivery of new Islamic products and product releases to the market in order to meet the overall goals of the bank.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the distribution process by developing and maintaining strong relationships with all the major Islamic institutions.
• Establish a reputation of the bank as a key player of the Islamic banking business and promote business growth in line with bank’s strategic framework.
• Overlook origination across GCC, specifically with Islamic Financial Institutions, coverage of bank’s product and services as well as develop Islamic Finance debt capital market business.
• Formulate effective business plans and practical tactics ensuring progression towards achieving financial and operating goals of Islamic banking.
Qualification Requirements:
• Strong marketing capabilities to UHNWIs or institutional contacts in GCC as well as sound understanding of Islamic investment and capital markets products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent ideally must have a MBA in Finance/ CFA/CA/CPA/CFP.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, though fluency in Arabic will be an added advantage.
