Capabilities & Resposibilities
Responsible to prepare RFQ package in conjunction with Senior Engineer in accordance with procedure.
Responsible to assist with the commerdal evaluations of RFQ packages
Responsible to liaise with the Senior Engineer and technical spedalist during the RFQ process
Responsible to maintain current martet knowledge on product availability and have the ability to source alternative compliant products in order to reduce cost.
Responsible to liaise with vendor to ensure compliance with product spedflcation and delivery time,
Responsible to provide input to cataloguer for new product registration.
Responsible to maintain high personal knowledge of international standards and codes.
Responsible to develop a procurement report (minutes of meeting, weekly or monthly report).
Ability in maintain and updating procurement procedure.
Qualification
BSCE or equivalent degree
Minimum 7 years relevant experience in Middle East Experience with the development of plans, specifications and estimates for infrastructure projects heavy civil & electromechanical infrastructure
Ability to understand and work with data from traffic and revenue studies
Knowledge of construction contracts S Familiarity with risk identification and assignment S Familiarity with construction cost estimating
An understanding of available funding options, toiling regulations, and FHWA polides is a plus
