Our client, a semi government organization is looking for a Director of Human Resources to join its dynamic team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate reports to the Executive Director of HR and will be responsible for leading the HR team to provide both operational and strategic HR business partnering to its Management and Board.
Responsibilities:
• Provide clear direction, drive accountability and effectively measure team performance and progress.
• Conduct a training needs analysis in order to design appropriate training and career development programmes.
• Advise on an incentive pay structure linked to employee performance appraisal and manage the employee pensions scheme.
• Ensure business outcome and HR contribution is translated into measures which drive the continuous improvement of HR services.
• Research best practices, market trends, and available technologies in order to utilize knowledge in designing and implementing effective HR solutions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline, though an HR professional qualification from a reputable institute is desirable.
• At least 10 years HR experience, including time in globally recognized leading organizations in the GCC.
