Job Description:

An established company in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Head of IT who will be responsible for the strategic direction and activities of the IT department in line with the business’ information technology needs.

The key responsibilities of the role are to direct and manage computing and IT strategic plans, policies, programmers and schedules for the business as well as finance data processing, computer services, network communications and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. Furthermore, a key part of the role will be to develop an annual business plan and operating budget for the department, and monitor the implementation of these to ensure the financial targets are met.

To be considered for this position, you must have at least ten years IT management experience and have a proven track record in strategic planning and execution, including knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management. Additionally, all candidates must have experience managing multiple IT disciplines and have experience in managing budgets in excess of DHS 10 million.
