Job Description:

Leading Telecoms Company requires a SDH Team Leader to work within a team of highly experienced SDH / Transmission Engineers with full responsibility for solving customer problems occurring on the client’s Transmission, IP and Data Products and services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose end-to-end customer circuits.

• Provide a technical reactive / proactive service to customers reported faults working within committed SLA’s.
• Detect, identify root causes and fix repetitive faults.

• Coordinate operational relationships and liaise with vendors and clients engineering team, TAC, NMC, SMC and field operations to service assigned customer network.

• Provide a professional and credible interface to customers.

Qualification Requirements:

• Must have an excellent knowledge and operation of most of the following vendors:- SDH Platforms – Nortel/Cyan – 6110 – Cisco ONS 15305, 15454 SDH Multiplexers.

• Good understanding of Cisco Inter working – IP Sub netting, protocols and routing.

• Must have a high level of experience in a customer facing technical role within a major IT 
Vendor or Blue Chip company.

• Fluency in English (written & spoken).
