Region: Saudi Arabia 

Description: The Project / Cost Control Engineer will support the Campus Manager as required in the development and implementation of procedures, systems, and reports to address Project status, Cost implications and forecasts.

- Develops and maintains a cost/schedule control system to provide, the Manager, the FM Manager, and the O&M Manager with the decision making tools for project / Cost control.

- Develops and maintains a cost estimating capability to develop estimates, prepare change notice estimates, and review prepared estimates. Work closely with Finance Dept and other related depts.

- Develops and maintains an automated computer system based on and associated with TIFM / PM that allows for the efficient capturing, storing, retrieval, and reporting of technical and business information including cost and schedule status and document control.

- Establishes and manages the project / cost control strategies on site and monitors performance, progress and departments budget. Assess the impact(s) of TIFM / O&M changes and schedule slippages and assists project staff in developing work-around and schedule recovery plans.

- Oversees the development and maintenance of the document control system for the project using TIFM / PM and Expedition software.

- Develops and creates weekly, monthly and special / exception reports for the Manager and project management staff to monitor progress and status of the project.


• THE ESSENTIALS:

- 8 years of directly related experience in project / cost control in an industrial / manufacturing environment required. At least 3 of those years should be in a managerial role.

- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling is required.

- BS/BA degree in an engineering discipline, with construction management, or business administration is required.
