Business Development / Sales Manager with minimum 5 years experience, needed for a leading advertising agency in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Job Requirements:
- Dual nationality required for Lebanese candidates
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Marketing or Public Administration
- 5+ years of experience in the UAE market
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with stressful situations if they arise, and work closely with upper management
- Ability to deal with difficult clients from different cultural and national backgrounds
- Excellent sales planning and organizational skills
- Excellent sales negotiation and closing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and CRM system
- Familiar with Prezi software
- Good strategic thinking
- Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills
- Motivated and ability to drive a sales team
- Fluent in Arabic and English
Job Description:
- Understand the industry and its dynamics, and be able to develop a strategy that would give us the edge over the competition.
- Translate the strategy into an action plan that would allow the company and the department to get the targets needed.
- Generate new leads through various means including personal contacts, partners, suppliers…
- Build brand awareness through attending conferences, exhibitions, networking opportunities, personal contacts…
- Plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and monitoring new trends & services. This includes monitoring public tender announcements.
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options and resolving internal priorities.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Develop / update promotional materials for the company (corporate brochure, website, presentation, social media…)
- Competition analysis. This includes price bench-marking of competition and identifying their key strengths (services, contacts…)
- Develop new skills and update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Project manage proposals by liaising with various departments to make sure each does its own part and put it all together.
- Work on presentations to address potential client’s specific requirements.
- Be familiar with the pricing structure of services to send out quotes.
- Develop annual strategic business development strategy / marketing plan for company.
- Attend strategic head meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and budgets.
- Recruitment of staff when needed.
- Support other departments when needed.
- Client retention:
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
