Job description
1. Hold the CS&S International delegated Project Management Governance and be responsible for the compliance of the engineering and training aspects of the Mid Life Update with the BAE Systems Operational Framework.
2. Lead and direct the engineering and training aspects of the Mid Life Update programme in terms of the maintenance, understanding and agreement of the Customer’s requirements and the delivery of the associated programme tasks.
3. To support the Programme Manager - Mid Life Update in the successful implementation of the ‘right’ partnering team behaviours to fulfil the requirements and oversee the management and flow down of requirements to BVT Surface Fleet.
Qualifications
• Knowledge and experience of undertaking and delivering business within a defence contracting or military service environment in KSA or the Middle East is desirable.
• Extensive Project Management expertise within the industry/sector in a senior position leading significant and diverse projects, with an understanding of all parts of the business lifecycle.
• Domain knowledge of marine and weapons logistics in a warship support and upkeep project environment is desirable.
• Experience in Customer, vendor and team relations is essential.
• Experienced as member of management team in large multi-national complex programme.
