A large Middle East based commercial bank urgently requires candidates for the post of Head of External Communications to work in Qatar.
Requirements:
> Applicants should be a Bachelor’s degree holder.
> Preference to applicants with degree in Communications and Public Relations.
> Having masters degree will be an advantage.
> Work experience of at least 8 years in a major bank in the GCC is needed.
> 3 years of experience should be in a managerial capacity in a similar function.
> Should possess strong knowledge of related Banking Systems used.
> Effective communication skills in English and Arabic is required.
Responsibilities:
> Develop media deliverables including press releases, press kits, media alerts, case studies, etc.
> Managing and developing the groups’ external profile in the media and through other channels including the website.
> Assist in directing media relations and marketing communications activities across the whole Group.�
> Drive public relations programs to increase awareness of the Group’s brand, products and services.
> Manage conferences, seminars, events and other functions organized by the Group.
> Strategically liaise with journalists and freelancers in maximizing media coverage.
