Job Description:
Reporting to the Regional IT Manager (Kuwait), you will provide technical programming support to the GOLD application system & Business Objects (BO) reporting system. Responsibilities comprise of: 1) Providing services in the technical investigation, identification & rectification of data integrity issues arising from application systems including the recovery of data integrated to GOLD & BO such as night batch downloads and POS data upload. 2) Supporting the technical activities in the implementation of new GOLD & BO functionalities 3) Monitoring & optimizing the performance of GOLD & BO applications. 4) Installing, testing & commissioning GOLD & BO patches / version upgrades etc.
Profile:
- B. Sc. or Advanced Diploma in Computing - at least 3-5 years hands-on experience in technical support for large Retail Systems, preferably in GOLD & IBM POS - knowledge of Unix scripting & Oracle SQL development tool is compulsory - experience in Report Writers, preferably BO (Business Objects) is an added advantage - possess effective communications & analytical skills
Education: Basic - Bachelor of Science ( Computers )
