REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should be a Bachelors degree in civil engineering.
> Work experience of at least 5 years related industry is needed.
> Need excellent skills in MS-Office.
> Should be experienced in SAP.
> Preference to applicants with GCC experience.
> Should possess strong knowledge of purchasing policies, processes and procedures.
> Need an understanding of material work planning and methods engineering process.
> Should have good negotiation skills.
> Requires effective organizational skills for efficient office control.
> Able to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
DUTIES:
> Resolving discrepancies and obtains credits and refunds in a timely manner.
> Working closely with the Logistics Department to ensure proper supplies arrived.
> Integrating activities with internal customers and suppliers to fulfill contract requirements.
> Negotiating with vendors for the best possible price and delivery date of parts needed for production.
> Performing the placement and management of purchase orders, schedules and availability of parts required to meet production schedules.
> Technical specifications review, bid preparation, quote solicitation and evaluation, orders placement for materials, submittals review, highlighting variations,�
material shipment monitoring, and facilitation of communication between site and main office.�
> Managing supplier performance and ensuring satisfactory contract performance is maintained and developing new supply sources where vendors are inadequate.
> Developing supplier work statements, soliciting supplier proposals, establishing negotiation parameters, developing supplier strategies, negotiating terms.
and conditions, establishing unit pricing, ordering and scheduling of production first articles, and maintaining current contractual instruments.
> Participating in supply base development, evaluations, supplier performance reviews, and improvement activities.
> Tracing delinquent arrivals from Purchase Orders and expedites orders as needed.
