ICT Operations Officer



Job Description : ICT Operations Officer, Bahrain



Our client, a leader in the telecommunications industry is looking for an ICT Operations Officer to join their growing team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will report to the ICT Operations Manager and be responsible for dealing with all tasks related to the company’s Domain Name Registration Office. 



Responsibilities:


• Implementation and operation of the DNRO hosting of both on-shore and off-shore platforms. 
• Provide authority in approving or rejecting domain name registration requests on a daily basis.
• Establish the DNRO by planning and implementing all necessary technical and administrative processes and procedures.
• Establish and maintain Electronic Numbering (ENUM) in support of Voice over IP (VoIP) addressing over Internet Protocol (IP).



Requirements:


• Broad knowledge of TCP/IP technologies and protocols.
• Good working knowledge of DNS servers and DNS protocol.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, Information Systems, Telecommunications or an equivalent degree. 
• At least 8 years of experience of which 5 years must be in network design, management or operations in the telecommunications industry in the GCC.
