MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Qualification:
· Diploma in Mechanical Technology or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
· Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Petrochemical Industry with minimum of 3
years experience in equipment maintenance in petroleum, or oil/gas industry.
· Experience required in general mechanical overhaul work specifically in all types of
valve employed in the industry.
· Knowledge of extruders, mixers, feeders and high pressure compressor maintenance and
overhauling would be advantageous.
· Knowledge of computer, Maintenance standards specification, permit systems, process
and planning techniques are needed.
· Reports to Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.
· Good knowledge of the rules, regulations and safety practices in the industry.
Have strong safety & housekeeping awareness (5”S” exposure desirable)
