WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER

Job Purpose:

To contribute to the efficient operation of the warehouse and to support PC&L Manager in organising and leading a team carrying out operational and administrative activities within the warehouse.

Deliverables:
-Administers daily warehouse activities.
-Supervises shipping & receiving processes inside warehouse.
-Monitors daily inventory status.
- Ensures all warehouse activities are adhered according to the company policy and quality/safety procedures.
- Coordinates with Purchasing, Finance & PC&L department on the issue of incoming materials.
-Liaises with shipping section and freight forwarding companies for outgoing shipments.
- Ensures timely purchase order receipt and sales order shipments on QAD system.
- Reports warehouse monthly metrics to PC&L Manager.

Skills

Person Specification:

-Certification / Diploma in any related field. University degree is a plus.
-Good knowledge of own warehousing / logistic operations and procedures and the ability to direct and co-ordinate immediate team members by using effective leadership skills and techniques.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Exceptional attention to detail with high concern for quality and order
-Knowledge and ability to use warehousing software / systems
-Experience in working within Manufacturing / Production Industry

Education

Certi fication / Diploma in any related field. University degree is a plus.
