Our client, a large and well established oil & gas company with turnover of over $5 billion is seeking to recruit a candidate for the position of GM - FINANCE AND IT with  high caliber and proven track record.

QUALIFICATIONS

The applicant should be :


* a qualified accountant with professional certification such as CPA / ACCA / ACA

* and MBA from a recognized business school an added advantage and

* have sound integrated oil & gas industry experience of 10 to 20 years

Experience

The applicant must be a strong leader who is able to motivate teams responsible for Finance, Accounts, IT, legal , Audit, Supply Chain, Sales, JV's etc.

He should possess strong communication skills, be a self starter and should be able to handle Board presentations and deliberations, contract negotiations, employee disputes and so on.

Apart from downstream oil business, the candidate should be conversant with JVs for development, exploration, and production sharing agreements.

Preference will be given to Bahraini candidates who are fluent in Arabic and English.
