a global insurance company is seeking highly qualified Assistant Manager of the Finance Department who reports to the Finance department to join their management team in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
• Timely reporting of financial results to regulators.
• Approve external audit of Financial Statements within deadlines.
• Establish accounting standard accounting entries for accruals, pre-payments, fixed assets etc.
• Ensure all Balance Sheet reconciliations are performed to company’s standards and within the required deadlines.
• Liaise with operations, systems, claims and branch management to record all insurance related transactions.
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Finance and Part Qualified (CA, ACCA, CPA).
• Willing to travel within the Arabian Region, including Saudi Arabia.
• At least 3 years professional experience in finance preferably within a multinational company in the financial sector and must have a good working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ideally post-graduate degree in finance and accounting, experience of the insurance industry and IFRS and/or US GAAP would be a distinct advantage. Should have at least one of the entities is Takaful compliant.
