Job Details:
Main duties include:
-Comply with Standards of Service and assists in assuring the same from all kitchen employees.
-Assists in managing updated operation of the kitchen, coordinate food production schedules and ensure highest level of food quality, taste and presentation.
-Control food cost by assisting in training kitchen staff on the proper methods of food preparation and handling, by training kitchen, restaurant & steward workers
-Take part in actual food preparation, produce food consistently high quality, taste and presentation and expedite during peak meal periods as required
Requirements:
*Must have a Bachelor's Degree or related culinary Degree
*Must have 5+ years of industry and culinary management experience.
*Prior experience with control food & labor costs, demonstration cooking, menu development etc. preferred
*Food Handlers permit is a must
