Job Description:
Our client, a global bank is looking for a Purchasing Executive to join their team in Bahrain.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure all the information is recorded in the systems and generate periodic budget reports.
• Contact suppliers to schedule deliveries and resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries.
• Handle all purchasing for the organization and procure the best price within the best lead time.
• Build long term relations with major suppliers to ensure best price / delivery time is achieved.
• Analyze potential vendors who can deliver supplies as quickly as possible to keep inventory levels low.
Qualification Requirements:
• Must be Prime MS Office programmer (MS Project/Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint), though previous experience of using Oracle would be advantageous.
• At least five years in a similar role in a bank in the GCC.
• Excellent oral and written skills in Arabic will be an advantage.
