Job Purpose:
1.To assist in the implementation & monitoring of Health, Safety & Environment Programs in each Business Sector to maintain a safe and injury-free work environment at all times.
2.To assist in maintaining the level of Safety, Health & Environmental awareness in respective Zamil Industrial Business Sector.
3.To coordinate between the departments in regard to the Safety, Health & Environmental activities

Key Result Areas:
1.Compliance to ISO 14001 AND OHSAS 18001- Health, Safety & Environmental Standards.
2.Organizational Compliance to Safety Requirements of Government entities and other monitoring body.
3.Documented Safety inspection, Safety Audit and results.
4.Maintain updated records of Work related Accidents, Incidents, and Near Misses.
5.Issuance, document, & control of Personal Protective Equipment when required.
6.Readiness of smoke Fire Alarm System and First Aid materials.
7.Readiness of Fire Extinguishers for use in the event of emergencies

Person Specification:

•Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or any engineering courses
•At least 3 years’ experience in a safety, health & environmental related jobs in a manufacturing set-up.
•Proficiency in MS Office Applications (word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Proficiency in English communication, presentations & report generations
•Experienced in maintenance of Automatic Fire Pump and Portable Fire Extinguishers& other fire equipt.
•Persuasiveness.
•High attention to details; Analytical skills
•Diligent & hard working; with sense of urgency
•Problem-solving skills
