The Responsibilities:
• Codes, tests and troubleshoots programs utilizing Oracle database and programming technology.
• Creates and modifies complex database queries and database objects.
• Works as a team leader with other technical and functional staff to ensure the smooth operation of administrative and academic systems.
• Updates and changes modified programs and Oracle reports to make them compatible with the new version of the administrative application.
• Works closely with the Technical Lead and Finance System Specialist in fulfilling any new requirement and providing support for administrative applications.
• Writes and maintains the system documentation.
• Designs, develops, implements and documents new reports.
• Documents system and application problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Delivers timely and accurate information along with technical support to internal clients.
• Develops reliable application and utility programs and reports that meet client needs.
The Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field.
• A minimum of five years experience in Oracle programming using PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle reports 10g and Forms 10g, PL/SQL toolkit.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle 10g database side and its front-end development tools.
• Deploying and publishing Oracle reports on the Web.
• Strong software and programming knowledge.
Preferred Requirements:
• Experience working in an academic environment.
• Knowledge of Oracle Application Express (APEX) and JDeveloper.
