The Post
• Calibrates, maintains repairs,. and troubleshoots a ,,de once of process Instruments and control systems, replaces worn, damaged or failed equipment and components to support plan to operations.
• Conduct any required inspection / post Maintenance testing of systems, equipment and components as necessary to ensure systems, equipments and components are returned to operational conditions.
• Performs preventive maintenance on Instruments and control systems and is Involved in the installation and removal of piping, circuits and associated instrumentation end equipment supporting plant modifications
• Using the computerized maintenance system to order spare parts from the warehouse and maintain the records of all maintenance work completed. Monitors repeated breakdowns and takes proper modification; Provides on-job training to new craftsman do, to gain necessary skills
• Checks and modifies PLC programs.
The Person
• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Instrumentation and/or Electronic Engineering including computer-related subjects or an equivalent qualification-
• 5 years experience in a similar position-
• Candidate should have an excellent General Industrial Control and Instrumentation Engineering background with working experience on some of the following:
PLC: Allen-Bradley ControiLogix/PLC5/SLC500, Siemens S5. SCAOA/HMI RSView, resell, and Networking techniques Controllers Analogue and digital Programmable, Roaemount, E&H, Moor. Mycro, Hartman, and Braun, Eurotherm, ABB Kent. Mass Fl-maters. Weighers weighronics, Avery Electronic Load Cell System, Integrated Belt Weighing, Programmable Weighers, Schenck Systems. Analysers: X-ray Fluorcence / Diffraction Analysers, Spectrometry Gas Analyseis, Chromatography and all Analysers Relative to Insustrial Water Treatmenet using computer based system.
• In Addition, thy should have a good working knowledge on MS Window 98, Windows 2000 or Windowqs NT. Knowledge of C++ / Visual Systems is an added advantage.
