Qatar Airways Group has Finance position available based in DOHA, QATAR in the following area:
OFFICER BUSINESS FINANCE
As Business Finance Officer supporting a functional department of the airline, the selected candidate will be responsible for the preparation of the department's financial budget, business plan, and business case for new initiatives; monitor execution of financial plans by tracking risks, controls, opportunities, and driving corrective actions in cooperation with the management team. Leads, directs and develops recognition as an expert in financial matters for the assigned function. As a subject matter expert, the role will provide value added, meaningful and insightful reporting and analysis for the EVP GF & IT and Senior Management.
Candidate must be a qualified Accountant from an internationally recognized accounting body with 5 or more years experience together with 3 years with an international airline.
The candidate should be an excellent communicator with strong influencing skill and have strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data and translate such data to support business decision-making. He/she must have proven track record in handling multiple responsibilities/work interruptions and able to deliver tasks within tight deadlines whilst maintaining confidentiality. Proficiency in advanced computer applications such as MS office is an essential requirement of the job as is the ability to work effectively across the organization.
