The Ministry of Works provides infrastructure in accordance with the legal frameworks set out in the National Strategic Master Plan for Bahrain, outlook 2030. The Ministry of Works is the construction arm of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and has oversight in the following areas, in accordance with the Master Plan: infrastructure development consisting of the strategic planning, design, construction and maintenance of the public road network and the drainage systems for the Kingdom. Design, construction, project management and maintenance of public buildings.
Qualifications
To Plan, organizer direct and control the activities of the projects management's office (PMO) which is a strategic resource for the continuous improvement and delivery of the Ministry's services provides leadership and strategic direction for MOW’s Project Management Office.
Sets the Project Management policy for the Ministry and ensures compliance with that policy.
Candidate should hold University degree in Project Management or Engineering or Finance or Computer Science or equivalent.
Certification in Project Management or equivalent professional with minimum experience of twelve years in Project Management, of which at least three years as Program/Project Manager of large/complex projects.
