The Ministry of Works provides infrastructure in accordance with the legal frameworks set out in the National Strategic Master Plan for Bahrain, outlook 2030. The Ministry of Works is the construction arm of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and has oversight in the following areas, in accordance with the Master Plan: Infrastructure development consisting of the strategic planning, design, construction and maintenance of the public road network and the drainage systems for the Kingdom. Design, construction, project management and maintenance of public buildings.
Qualifications
will be responsible for the costing of designs and revisions, preparation of tender documents and supervision of the tendering process, and other aspects of cost control and contract monitoring.
Should hold Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university and preferably with membership of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – RICS-.
Should have minimum 6 years experience for the first position and 4 years for the second position in all aspects of quantity surveying such as Building or Housing Projects or Roads & Bridges or Sanitary Engineering projects.
Desirable that experience should include minimum 2 years in government service
