A well established organisation in dubai is looking for suitable candidates for the post of Procurement Engineers. Applicants should be professionally qualified in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering. Work experience of minimum 5 years in a similar position in a similar environment is required. Preference will be given to applicants with a valid UAE driving license. Other essential things for this post are :
> Strong focus on building and maintaining close ties with various parties like vendors,clients,shipping agencies,etc.
> Knowledge of material handling and storage requirements for hazardous materials and chemicals.
> Experience in procurement of chemical,mechanical,structural,piping and electrical material.
> Skills in sourcing,basic technical evaluation,commercial bid evaluation,negotiation,order processing,expediting,logistics and inventory management.
> Ability to analyze competitive bids,negotiate rates and terms with suppliers and logistics providers.
> Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
> Proven ability to develop and maintain sound business relationships.
> Committed to perform professionally and contribute effectively to the success of the company.
