Metering/Measurement Engineer job in Oman

•Provide measurement engineering support to Khazzan operations and the discipline engineering team
•Provide technical support to the R&M Flow Measurement Team for maintenance and engg of Class 1/critical meters i.e custody transfer, regulatory and primary accounting meters.
•Auditing of the PMs performed by the Technicians.
•Assuring that all applicable local regulations are complied with.
•Support external and internal measurement audits.
•Assist with start up and/or commissioning of new measurement equipment/systems.
•Ensure integrity of production metering.

Requirement:
*Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or science.
*Experience and skills with flow measurement technologies including various flow computing and liquid flow metering systems and gas metering technologies.
*10 to 15 years of experience in similar engineering position supporting the integrity of oil / gas processing facilities
*Thorough knowledge and practical experience of industry and BP maintenance practices with the ability to positively converse in them with all field departments, external contractors and equipment vendors
