Job description
Conducting appropriate research for the requirements for the health programs utilizing both on-campus and off-campus resources inclusive of survey data bases, feedbacks, and hazards identification risk analyses epidemiological evaluations and meeting minutes.
Develop, design and execute health and wellness events and programs that involve and interest the maximum, from both the student and staff communities resulting in good levels of participation and response.
Planning, developing and implementing active health education programs for health promotion in the QF Communities, incorporating variety of learning techniques and formats ranging from large scale awareness events to smaller group discussions, work-shops, lectures, roll-plays, skits etc.
Qualifications
Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education/ Social Work/ Public Health/ Counseling or a similar related field.
2 years of professional experience in a role related to health coaching, wellness programming, counseling health education etc.
Demonstrated skills to develop, implement and assess health promotion efforts related to wellness.
Knowledge of social and macro influences on health behaviour, with ability to identify high risk health behaviours in student and staff communities.
Good knowledge of current and traditional theories of student and community health promotion, student learning, environment change, behaviour change and evaluation.
Demonstrated skills, to train, guide, counsel and mentor the students and employees from the health and wellness perspectives.
