Job Description : Broadcast Sales Director, GCC
Our client, a telecommunications organization is looking for a Broadcast Sales Director to join its dynamic team in the GCC. The Sales Director is responsible for the achievement of the sales goals through the development and management of a broadcast customer base.
Responsibilities:
• Feedback on competitors activity, changes in technology, and market trends.
• Lead responsibility for negotiating and closing services / products agreements.
• Create and maintain strong relationships with Accounts at the executive level.
• Prospect for new business accounts and establish long-term relationships with industry professionals.
• Meet and exceed revenue targets by identifying a solid pipeline of potential customers and lease opportunities.
• Maintain an updated corporate database to deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts, and provide business reports.
Requirements:
• At least 8 years of experience in account sales management in a telecom services organization, selling video and/or value added services to the media / audiovisual industry (broadcasters, TV channels, content distributors, production houses, video service providers, entertainment platforms, governments, etc.).
• A minimum of 8 years experience in the Satellite Broadcasting Industry in the GCC along with proven sales experience which will be asked upon at interview. Experience of working in a start up company will also be an added advantage.
• Ability to negotiate and close deals for high value communications services along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Good contacts and knowledge of broadcast and media industry across Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe.
