Recruit a highly talented
Banqueting & Conventions Manager
Who can manage, lead by example and organize all aspects of Banqueting, Conferences and Exhibitions to the highest professional standards and in accordance to the SOP's set by the F&B Department through faultless planning, revenue management and ensuring the highest level of quality and personalized service. Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage you will also work in conjunction with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, Catering Sales Managers, Outlet Managers, EAM i/c of Business development, and of course the Executive Chef.
You will monitor the departments profitability by accurate forecasting, meeting targets and paying particular attention to contract negotiations, thus maximizing all potential revenue streams.
Being financially astute and passionate about the assignment you will promote and execute sales, market all venues in close collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage and the EAM in charge of Business development.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Large scale Banqueting / Wedding experience within the Middle-East, preferably including Kuwait
• Fully computer literate and knowledge of Delphi banqueting software a distinct advantage
• Be a born leader, highly motivated and have an eye for detail.
• A recognized International hotel/Food and Beverage diploma with a minimum of 10 years experience in F&B/Banqueting and at least 3 years in the same position in a large venue(s).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and follow-up skills.
• Must be fluent in both English and Arabic (verbal and written).
