Description:
Role Summary:
To participate in project sales, proposal preparation, design development, design detailing, design supervision and design administration as required by the company Represent and communicate the stated values of the company in all of your personal interactions (regardless of position or rank) in a way that offers respect to the individual and maintains our stated brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Company representation and sales activity
• Developing client brief and proposal participation
• Interior design scheme development & participation
• Working with your immediate supervisor to ensure efficient use of your time
• Adherence to company employment policies
Main Duties:
Please note the following is not intended to be a complete prescriptive or final list of duties. You are expected to assist both your immediate supervisor and the senior management as is reasonably required.
• Assist the Project Manager as necessary
• Dimensional surveys and Base plan creation
• Client communications and scheme presentations
• Design concept production (colourboards and graphics)
• Briefing external design resources as necessary
• Coordination with external interior designers as required
• Design detail production including CAD drawings
• Design specification production (fixed works)
• Product selection and specification production
• Coordination and clarification of design information for the contracts team
• Application of the agreed design management / production procedures
• Attendance to site works, quality supervision and site meetings
• Preparation of contract reports (clients and suppliers)
• Participation and completion of the job role time sheets
• Participation in the development of new / revised working practices
• Participation in internal meetings
• Mentor colleagues and new team members in the correct application of the
company’s design management procedures as necessary
• Attendance and participation in the company’s staff development
procedures
