A global insurance company is looking for a General Manager to join its dynamic team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate must be able to identify, manage and control risks as well as achieve business targets, operate effectively across all key business areas and add value to the business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Direct the Bahrain Management team in order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.

• Report on progress and achievements in a timely and efficient manner.

• Establish good relations with key people in the business to develop excellent collaboration and exchange of information.

• Manage risks, develop contingency plans and ensure risk management actions are included in branch plans.

• Performance management of people and their work in order to increase motivation and development of direct reports.

Qualification Requirements:

• Business related qualification and/or MBA.

• Experience of working in Bahrain, ability to identify and manage risks, sound knowledge of CBB rules and excellent business contacts in Bahrain.
